![]() A nice view on the Arno River. A little bit further down is where Hannibal hung the Inspector out of the library. Pictures of that to come... |
![]() Here's this picture to give you an idea of the size of Boboli Gardens. Not very good exposure, but that hill goes back up as well. |
![]() This was shot at the back of the Boboli Gardens. It's just some of Tuscany in the background. Don't try to rent a place here, though. It's very exclusive. |
![]() Boboli Gardens, with the Medici Palace in the background. They actually didn't build it, they took it over from some banker guy that did. Something like that. |
![]() My roommate, Josh, in the same spot overlooking the palace. He's from Washington D.C. via Berkley, Calif. This is in Florence, though... |
![]() I saw a workboot in this pond in the
Boboli Gardens, thought it was funny, and decided to get
a picture. You can barely see the boot, but Rich thought
it was the best picture I took. Go figure... |
![]() The view from the Piazzale Michelangiolo, by our estimate the highest point in the city. I was ready to quit walking down where those people were, but my roommate's insane, so we walked a little futher. Nice picture, though. The Arno River is in the foreground. |
![]() This reminded me a lot of the Coker Arboretum at school. Just a lot better and no sketchy assailants resembling Bruce Willis. |
![]() I believe this is San Miniato al Monte, one huge hill higher than the Piazzale Michelangiolo. Did I mention my roommate was a caddy last summer? |
